<title>build a school community where kids feel like everybody belongs and that they know each other; it would be nice if all kids knew who all staff members on campus were; change the &quot;have a fun year&quot; marquee on room 10 to a weekly/inspirational/funny saying; create a birdwatching club; focus on character-based social skills between kids; establish a course on ethics; character trait signs in classrooms; address the increase in anxiety in teenagers with mindfulness exercises school-wide; can we get together around food maybe teachers having lunch days in their rooms with special foods; teachers eeat out in the quad with the kids a couple times a month;bring teachers to the cafeteria by offering unlimited free food; addressing the daily rude behavior in the cafeteria -- it&#39;s chaotic and a mess; break the hierarchy of status from some adults being addressed by their last names (e.g. Mr. Broadhurst) or their first name (e.g. Cory) -- everybody should have a title so that everybody is accorded the same level of respect; bring the custodians (Mr. Lopez and Mr. Roza, for example) into the staff as honored, respected staff members who can help maintain discipline and schoolwide positive culture;</title>

<title>I love the idea of the school wide Random Act of Kindness.&amp;nbsp; It&#39;s simple, yet it adds to school climate tremendously . . . but, is there a way that we can publicize in a &quot;student friendly&quot; way, such as videos of student interviews after they either gave/received a RAK, or picture and quotes publicized through announcements? . . . in other words, let&#39;s take something old and make it FRESH, NEW and RELEVANT!!!!Values.com also has some fresh ways of communicating old but solid ideas.</title>
