I will need to enter my card details and once I have paid I will receive a confirmation email including the items I have purchased, the cost, and a delivery date (N). Throughout the process I have read reviews of campsites, conversed with people regarding bookings, read a map and blogs about food and the nutritional information on food labels, and finally read a poster about packing a back ready for an expedition. I have read a variety of texts and understood what has been said, I have conversed with people where I needed to listen and respond appropriately. This is a skill I have learned and continue to develop as I progress.

Checking the temperature and sundown is one of the most important factors of an expedition it can result in emergency situations if it is not taken into consideration. 
I will need to find the 6-figure grid references on the map to locate my position and navigate my way to the next checkpoint.
Taking a bearing is primarily a simple skill although if done wrong or done using an ineffective compass can result in mistakes being made and becoming lost. I will need to ensure that my bearings are correct by repeating the process once or twice to ensure accuracy 
I will need to calculate how long it will take me to walk a certain distance to ensure that I am not falling behind and at risk of losing sunlight. 
I have pre-planned the menu and I'm aware of how many calories each day contains. I need to ensure that I am consuming enough food to keep me going.
I have listed a variety of numeracy-based skills that I have learned over the years and practice frequently to maintain the skills without this practice my competency in the skill will fade which can result in emergency situations.

Having a group discussion is a great way for everyone to have input and be able to explain how they perceived the experience. However, as a group, we need to remember to let everyone have the opportunity to talk.
Digital skills have been used when using a laptop to access a variety of platforms such as YouTube, PowerPoint, Canva or Padlet to create a presentation.
Using apps like Spotify to overlay music onto the presentation or Video Log can make this more interesting.

I use an app (DL) called "ourgroceries" this app allows me to scan barcodes to add items to my shopping list, or I can type items in. In order to cross the item off the list I can either swipe to the left and delete it or I can type the item and it will cross off like the items in the picture.
