He had learned the power and greatness of working with deaf people from his father, his mom and wife were both deaf. He worked with many deaf people, it had a very big impact on his work, he also made a sort of program for deaf people to help or spread to importance of the disorder. He helped deaf people which is a heart touching and intelligent thing to do. He actually invented the first practical telephone.
