Work On Your Stress Management Skills

When I get overly stressed, I'm easily overwhelmed, irritable, and sad/depressed. By finding things that help me to regularly destress, I can limit the side-effects. For me, journaling, exercise, sleeping 8 hours, and spending time with friends helps me to stay relaxed and at ease.

Write Affirmations for Yourself and Others

There is a lot of power in our words. We underestimate how powerful it is to speak positively to ourselves! If we take the time to positively affirm ourselves every day, we can significantly improve our moods and how we think of ourselves and others. It's also important to make sure that we build those around us up and make sure we affirm them as well. We never know what someone else may be going through.
