Would you Do This in "Real Life"? Film

Film showing how silly it would be in real life to walk up to someone you don't know and talk to the stranger and make them your friend. and then you keep sharing personal info with them face to face over the next few days (this can be shown in the film). And how silly it would be to dress up and then go to your friends and to total strangers and say, “do you like this outfit” (posing like a selfie whilst doing that). What else do we do online that would be silly if done in real life to strangers???? Put these into the film.

I Really like the idea of having our group goals as. Learning how to have some Social skills but still staying safe, responsible and smart. Also learning resilience and using the resources like the eSmart committee. I don't know.

A film that focuses only on the different ways that students can get help and where to go to and what they have to do to get there and what it looks and feels like at those places.

Whole school assembly Launch film. Mr Maccrum talking to camera about cybersafety and then student from group come in and surprises mr m, saying 'cut' and then explains how it is great that teachers give messages but us students know this world and need to have a say in what is taught to our school as well and that there should be a committee setup to do this in our school. Mr m agrees but says who is going to help this student as she can't do it on her own. Student says the other 13 standing behind her will help and we will get the rest of the school to work together and spread the messages among themselves. Mr m says that he'd will talk with them and ask the group members what they think and want. Student says no need to do this as she has already asked them and this what they said. Then we show film of our group with our group goals and actions and messages shown on screen as each person is shown in their favourite school setting in a friendly smiley way in different school settings, eg classroom, gym, music block, oval) and behind this we play the chorus of our songs eg "you're the voice" by john Farnham, que sera, things can only get better, break my stride, I'll stand by you etc. then spokespersons will talk to the school about our group. Then mr m will talk to the school and urge the school to get behind this amazing group and support each other

Film shows someone being cyber bullied and not sitting in silence and showing all the things that our students can do, just like a choose your own adventure film, showing the consequences and positives of doing something rather than doing nothing (eg telling school, helpline, headspace, blocking person (show these in order of what should happen to stop bullying occurring)

This film will also show how bystanders are not going to sit in silence and they are going to help out even if person says no to help.
