Charlie is loyal 
We learn this through the quote ‘Charlie could have got clean away , he could have made a run for it and got clean away but Charlie is not like that.’

The pharse Charlies not like that means that he would not leave someone in trouble and get away with being partly blamed.It suggests that he is a loyal friend , it also suggests that is is a fair person as if something is his fault he will also take the blame and the consequences for it.The phrase gives the effect that he is not someone who would ditch a friend (in trouble )and get away without getting into trouble.
