Is the "Curse" of King Tut real?

The Curse of King Tut idea began when his tomb was first opened, and one of the first persons to walk in was Lord Carnarvon, who died exactly 6 months after the opening of the tomb. He died from cutting a mosquito bite on his cheek which gave him a blood infection. It is also said that the moment in which he died all the lights/power in Egypt went out. Another aspect to the curse, his daughter died not long after the discovery of the tomb and both his pet bird and dog died that same day. Inscribed in the entrance of the tomb in hieroglyphics, it says, "They who enter the tomb shall swift be visited by the wings of death". Is it a coincidence or is this curse the real deal? Some people believe that this "curse" was caused by "Tomb Toxins", which are deadly bacteria, molds and chemicals that were trapped inside the tomb and when breathed in, they cause health problems or even death. It is also believed that they could of picked up diseases from Cairo, Egypt. But people also say that there is no way that bacteria and mold can be trapped inside a tomb for that long and survive all those years. But examiners said they have found deadly mold spores on the walls of the tomb and on King Tut's mummy. So it is likely that individuals who have experienced the "curse" of King Tut were exposed to diseases and molds, causing health problems and sometimes death. But there are still many mysterious deaths surrounding King Tut's discovery.

There is more to King Tut's mysteries than just his curse?

There are several other questions about King Tut that most people don't know about. Like why is his death mask (the big golden thing of his face and head) made in two separate parts? Its strange because the Egyptians did not make the death mask in two parts, it is made in all one piece. And the ears on his death mask are pierced, which is also strange because Egyptian men did not wear pierced ears, only women and children did. Egyptologist believe that his death mask was originally meant for a women, due mainly because of the pierced ears, and that they tried to make do with what they got and made the back of the mask for Tut. Another strange thing is that the toes of his middle coffin are cut off. It looked to be why they cut the toes of was because it didn't fit inside the sarcophagus. But why didn't it fit? Another theory Egyptologist came up with is that his middle coffin was meant for his step mother Nefertiti. The last question is about his tomb. Why was it so small and unlike all the other royal Pharaohs tombs? King Tut's tomb had the most treasures but the smallest tomb. According to Egyptologist, the tomb was meant for someone of lower class than a Pharaoh, like a noble or something. They say that because of the size and the hieroglyphics. It was obviously too small because they had to cut some of the wall to get the sarcophagus inside. And the hieroglyphics were not written as you would normally see in a royal Pharaohs tomb, it was less detailed and said less. So even if all these questions have theories, doesn't mean that their fully answered.

How Did King Tut Die?

King Tut's cause of death is still unknown because of the bad condition the mummy was in due to poor handling by Howard Carter (the man who first discovered his tomb) and his team of Middle Eastern diggers. First of all, King Tut died at a very young age. He was between 18 to 20 years of age when he died. Examiners originally thought that maybe he was clubbed to death because of the holes in his skull. But it was soon found out that the missing pieces of skull was actually from his first examination by Howard Carter and his team poking the holes in his skull during the examination. Recently, scientist examined King Tuts mummy with a 3D X-ray machine. The results showed that he had a fractured leg, which some people believe that it was from Howard Carters poor handling and others believe that he died with the fractured leg. He said that the fractured leg before death could of been a war wound or from a chariot accident. (It is widely believed that King Tut raced chariots during his his time of life). Another theory about his death his that he could of been poisoned, even though that there is no mention on why they believe that he was poisoned. The X-ray results also show that he was missing some ribs and the sternum was missing too. They don't know exactly why some ribs and the sternum was missing, but they say that it could of been from the removal of his organs during the mummification process.
