<title>The very first scene of this episode was a very chaotic and stressful scenario. What struck me the most was the amount of sensory input occurring during that scene. The loud noises, bright lights, sights, and smells is a lot for someone like Shaun to process. Shaun was staring out into into the chaos and almost froze for the first few minutes. He was able to keep his composure and perform his doctorly duties to help save the patient&#39;s life. This scene demonstrates how Shaun is growing, and learning to cope with the intensity of his job- Sara</title>

<title>After watching everything that Shaun was able to overcome this week, I wish I could be like him! The beginning of the episode started off very overstimulating and he has learned to keep his composure and ignore distractions so he can make the best medical decisions. He has also appeared to learn that he may not be the best person to communicate with patients and is letting other doctors do this. Twice in the show we have watched adults say crude comments towards Shaun about his personality and demeanor. That can not be an easy thing to deal with and not comment back or become upset or angry. Sometimes I need to bite my tongue and have trouble :) -Lisa</title>

<title>What stood out to me was Shaun is at a point in his life that he knows his challenges and difficulties and tries to overcome them. I think a lot of times we don&#39;t communicate with our students with ASD the things that have difficulty with, but they will need to know what is hard. Shaun knows his communication is a difficult skill and he does not understand communication all the time. But Shaun is always understanding that in a situation and not giving himself any excuses. -Kayla</title>
