On of my major failures was the size of the tree. I hadn't planned on it taking up a majority of the project but now that it is complete I feel it fits the composition very well. I learned that mistakes you make during your artistic process are just part of the process. I enjoyed being able to morph ideas into one of my own and find the idea that fits the growth project and my wants. Sadly, I ran out of time so the background that was going to be a playground and trees became just sky. If I could redo it I would complete the background. The part that I made a mistake on and it turned into a cool idea is inside of the shoe lace. I dropped some green paint and decided it would be cool if I turned it into winding sidewalks to give a strange perspective of the real object. The sidewalks color is a little too tan to represent real cement so I would redo that as well. I hit many bumps through mistakes with dripping water color but overall other than the sky I enjoy this piece.

I came to the decision that I was going to make it a curious, bright piece. The strange lines and ways the colors fall on top of each other make the piece very curious and I believe I am a curious person. The bright blues and purple represent my bright bubbly personality and how I am looking represents my outlook on the world. I have curious look and I am also looking up. I don't do a lot of work with cray pas and found it to be difficult. I finally found by adding contrasting colors I was able to give more dimension. The hills and the sky I do not like. If I could redo it I would definitely redo those because they look messy next to the cloud which I put so much time into.
