One must fill out and complete a registration form either online or in person depending on which state one lives in. Requisites also include being a US citizen and be over or the age eighteen. Again depending on the state, one should usually register 15-30 before the actual election. Then when election day rolls around, one goes to their local poling place, like a library to vote in privacy to select the candidate or issue of your choice.
