To make our piece of art, we started the way to the beach Saturraran, and we stopped near something like a small river taking the material we would need . It was full of rocks so it wasn’t easy to walk anymore. We really spent a great time laughing just for that reason. While I was collecting the material I had the idea to make the head of a Chinese dragon. So I took small rocks to do the teeths, plastic bottles to do the face and also some leaves to decorate the sculpture. When we finally had all what we needed, we started the way back to the town. On the return we came talking about our ideas to do the project, I was really surprised with some of them.

As I said, I decided to do a Chinese Dragon head. They are so colorful and their shapes are also amazing, but of course it would be a bit difficult to make it. I think that the most difficult part would be doing its structure, making its mouth and also how to do its eyes as they like to be an important part of the piece. For doing these I must use hot glue and paint a part of the material I took from the water. From that material I will need two plastic bottles, to do the structure and decorate it, a small rock, to do the nose and some algaes, also to decorate the piece of art.

Once I thought about how to use the material, I started thinking how to cut it and bring it the shape I needed. Finally I could do something similar to its mouth with the top of the bottle and with the rest I did the body. When I finished what seemed to be the structure I painted it red and blue as the other materials I will use to decorate it were of that colors; a bottle to make different shapes and stick them into the sculpture, and I also used the same material to do the tongue. A small rock  was the nose of the dragon and the mustache and beard were some algaes.

For the next few days, all of us had finished our piece of art. I must say that there were some that were especially pretty. So with the sculptures finished and the photos, writings and visual thinkings that we had done during the project, we did a final poster to bring visual support to the Zaldupe public school, as we had to do a presentation there. A Monday morning we went to Zaldupe to do a presentation to the students of LH4 and despite not being scheduled also to the students of LH6. We had a great time while we explained our work to all those people and also listening and seeing the presentations of the other groups. 

In other words, this was a great project where we learnt many different things about the oceans, nature and currents. We did many different activities and we had so much fun at the same time we were working. I think that it was a fantastic way to have lessons and to also make them entertaining. At the end of the project we could see all our work compiled in a single place which was very satisfying. Personally I enjoyed the project, and I liked it but maybe it was too long, so at the end you were already a little tired or bored. Anyway I think that it was a funny project and I had such a great time doing it.
