I would want them to have a sense of accountability and a feeling that they are just as much a part of this group as I am. I would then discuss respect and confidentiality regarding this group. I would make sure to discuss the limits of confidentiality so that the group has an understanding of expectations in this area. 
Stage 2 - I will keep my members working cohesively by creating a safe group culture, where nobody's thoughts are invalid. If two people have a disagreement, I would have the students talk things out and have them try to see it from the other persons perspective. I would stress the importance of respecting others opinions. I will check in with the students at the end of every session to ensure they are understanding the content that the group is covering, and I will make sure to ask students if they have any questions or concern about anything regarding the group. 
Stage 3 - Group closure will be important for this group as I will need to continually need to monitor the groups success inside the classroom. I would include the post-assessment as one of the closure pieces to ensure student understanding. I would then talk to the group about the continuation of confidentiality to reiterate the importance of what we discussed in the beginning of the group. I will include a google form on the group classroom so that the group members can request to talk to me if they ever have any questions about something that they are dealing with in class that pertains to our group. This helps counselors allot necessary time finding students needs and addressing them.
