In Peru, insecurity is a big problem. Daily, robberies and assaults are reported in the streets of cities like Lima. Many Peruvians are affected by crime and extortion. Trust in the police and government is damaged. This problem is worsened by the lack of resources.

If the Peruvian government invests more in security, crimes will decrease. If authorities and citizens work together, a safer Peru will be created. If something isn't done soon, the situation will get worse.

When I was a child, I used to travel with my parents. We used to go to the highlands to visit my grandmother, and my mom bought me warm clothes for the cold weather. My parents paid for all the purchases we made.

Now, when I travel, I must plan my budget well so I don't have problems later. I have to buy my own ticket and pay for my expenses, like food and clothes. I also take something special from Tacna for my grandmother. If I want to see a new place, I need to plan the visit and the transportation.
