They would do high level engagement and training to empower employers to create work placements for 16-18 year olds, guidance for adaptations for SEN and Neurodiverse learners. The hub would be able to reduce excessive contact for businesses and also reduce workload of individual colleges to have appropriate paperwork in place (we would need to establish how this was stored and shared from a data protection point of view). Hub would look to promote the benefits and opportunities for work experience and also be able to act upon needs for business and colleges accordingly. This in turn could lead to opportunities for not only work experience but bootcamps and other specialised programmes to meet the needs of businesses.
