1) We're going to stick to very few Controlled Response types. Probably, just a couple of multiple choice tests at the beginning of some classes. 2) Constructed Response types - we'll have a lot! We're mostly doing Summary and extended response, because our students will create the newspaper columns. 3) For Alternative L2 Literacy Assessment we want to do Self-Assessment. We'll provide our students with check lists for self assessment

Informal and Formal Assessment- Short Answer Comprehension : by having them write a short paragraph around their choices made in Forbidden Forest. Then going home writing a longer version and submitting that for homework.

Final Assessment:

Summary and Extended Response:

Having the students create three different articles to read at the end of the semester. This will be graded on a holistic rubric. (We are wondering if other groups are using rubrics for their tips, rumor, or gossip articles?).

Self Assessment: For final project, we are also going to make them do a self assessment.
