         <description><![CDATA[<div>Janet Horne was the final witch to be burned in Scotland, this apparently occurred in June of 1727 when "Janet" and her daughter were accused by their neighbours of witchcraft. The daughter managed to escape while her mother was executed via burning to death in the town square.</div>]]></description>
