According to The Civil Rights Division, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and United States Attorneys offices because people blamed a certain race for the fall of the twin towers in 2001 they were over 800 hate crimes against  Arab-Americans, Muslims, Sikhs, South-Asian Americans these hate crimes including violence, threats, vandalism and arson.
