Jackson a Common Man

Jackson wasn't wealthy when he was young. He lived in a log cabin and when he got older he did a lot of gambling and drinking. He didn't care much about his education back then. But when he started taking things seriously he became a lawyer. When he won the Battle of New Orleans it gave him a lot of popularity . In the election of 1824 he could've won but John Q. Adams and Henry Clay teamed up and beat him. When he won the election of 1828 he fired some people in the cabinet and gave them to his friends because he said he can trust them this was Jacksons spoil system. He also used his power as president to make tariffs and the Indian Removal Act unarguable. He also gave all the governments money to the state bank and made the US bank go bankrupt. These were things that made him seem like a man who didn't know what he was doing. Which still made him seem like a common man.
