         <description><![CDATA[<div>Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck<br>A family of Americans living in the heat of the Dust Bowl packs up and journeys to California to find a better life.<br>Banned because the book contains profanity, sex, violence (including murder), discrimination and, most notably, political slander. Steinbeck was called a Communist because of this book, when the entire point of the book was to promote socialism.<br>It shouldn't be banned because it tells an important story about how average Americans found their way through one of the lowest points in the American economy, and sex and political judgement are regular parts of human life. Also it's just really, really good. </div>]]></description>
