It is a good read and stuff that happens in this book happen in real life(maybe not to the extent of what happens in here) but it doesn't happen.

Banned because the book contains profanity, sex, violence (including murder), discrimination and, most notably, political slander. Steinbeck was called a Communist because of this book, when the entire point of the book was to promote socialism.
It shouldn't be banned because it tells an important story about how average Americans found their way through one of the lowest points in the American economy, and sex and political judgement are regular parts of human life. A WW2 bombardier is stationed on the island Pianosa. He flees a hospital, since a "catch-22"  in the air force prevents him from being grounded from illness or obtain a leave. It was banned because it was racist and sexist.Also Criticizes the lunacies of the war and thinks its a game.
I think this book should not be banned because being in ww2 racism and sexism was a big thing around and people should not be offended because its been a while and everyone already knows what happened during WW2.

It is banned in some of the United States and other countries
This book shouldn't be banned because it shows the values of leadership and the determination that comes with survival. It is a really good book.
