We include both Dual Credit and AP in our regular course catalog. AP is promoted through our AP Hall of Fame where AP scholar students are recognized. We channel students who are hesitant to take AP but are ready to challenge themselves towards dual credit classes. AP is a much larger program for us because of the strong history, but our Dual Credit classes are growing as well. We encourage all students who are ready to take these courses and try to get students to challenge themselves by taking these advanced classes.

We promote both. We have tried to balance by not offering many core dual credit. We offer fine arts, psych/soc, computer, economics, leadership and teacher cadet dual credit. We are looking at expanding next year perhaps in law. We still may offer an English next year but we aren't sure.

We are trying to figure out how to do this effectively right now. In our school it generally draws the same small cohort of students.

This year we are attempting to be a more intentional about who we recommend for which class. I think there is a difference between an English 101/102 student and an AP Lit/Lang student. We want to increase the numbers in both and I don't think the answer is to just take AP students and put them in Dual Credit. Currently, we will target dual credit predominantly for 2 year college bound students and AP for four year college students.

We have been doing both, plus IB for several years. Rather than focusing on increasing numbers, we have focused on meeting the needs of our students and directing them to the most appropriate college credit courses for their individual needs and plans.

We have to promote Dual Credit, AP, and IB through departments, guidance, and administration. Students should be aware of all of the opportunities so that they can pick the best fit for them. We are also trying to push AP in earlier grades (ex/ Lit and Lang) so that it doesn't compete with Dual Credit senior year.

Students need to be aware of all of the opportunities. Our goal is to increase Dual credit opportunities on our campus. We want to remove any of the "hurdles" that exist that prevent access. We also recognize that we will always have AP students and AP courses. We feel strongly - that both can exist and be robust.

We promote both and let students decide which they prefer to take. I found that AP teachers are very leery of dual credit. They have been the biggest obstacle for dual credit enrollment. Students who have taken both have been proponents of students taking some AP classes prior to taking dual credit. So we let the students speak about their experience with both to clear up any miscommunication from the adults.
