Hermione is proud of her "books and cleverness" but is more than that. Taylor-as-Hermione conveys that Ron's love disarms her in a way that allows her to escape this reductive persona and instead be the more rebellious and courageous Gryffindor she has inside her. She is so in love that she is willing to both know less about where she is headed because she can confidently follow Ron to wherever that may be.
