This genre of music is one of my least favorite kinds of music. This music is not one of my favorites because alot of the lyrics don't really apply to my life so I cannot relate to the music at hand. However, some of the music I can relate to such as the older country music. I really enjoy the musicality, the music itself, and the feel of the music. Country music has a huge cultural and social import in today's world. In the southern United States, country music is one of the most popular musical genres. It appeals to many people in the south because many of them can relate to the music at hand. In alot of country songs, the artist talks about farms, small towns, country roads, hunting, fishing, among many other outdoor activities and anything having to do with rural life. Through working with this genre of music, I have come to appreciate it a little more because now i know the importance that it has to some people and to some regions.
