• Physical traits: eight feet tall with a bald head and one grey eye with an eye patch over the other. He has one hoop earring and wears a plaid vest over a t-shirt, jeans, and flip flops.

• Character traits: He is a loving giant who cares deeply for his friends, however, he is willing to engage any enemy of himself or others.

• Physical traits: Hondo is a short Hispanic man in his early twenties (although he looked seventeen) and was built like a tank with boulder-size biceps, abs of steel, and hands of iron. However despite his muscular build he was considered short.

• Character traits: lazy, well-meaning to others, loyal, courageous, he can be strict at times

• Alias: Little Hawk

• Physical traits:  she has tan skin and brown hair, and a few freckles on her nose. She has amber eyes that changed to chocolate brown when she was scared. She wears combat boots, a hoodie with a hawk on it, and black leggings or jeans.

• Character traits: fierce and determined warrior, and will do whatever it takes to get the job done. She is a caring friend and does everything she can to keep them safe. She can also be a little sarcastic.

• Powers: 

Shapeshifting: As a h’nawal, although due to her mixed heritage, she can only turn into a hawk. However, she can control the size of the hawk, ranging from normal size to large enough to carry a person on her back.

Camouflage: Brooks is able to blend into her surroundings while shapeshifting.

Superhuman Speed: After training Brooks can fly at incredibly fast speeds.

Underwater Breathing: As a ha'nawal, Brooks can breathe underwater.

• Physical traits: young woman with long white blonde hair with cat ears wearing a wetsuit.

• Character traits: helpful, can hold a grudge, caring parent (has 1 daughter)

• Abilities: 

Chronokinesis: As a former time goddess, she is able to bend time, such as speeding up Zane's trip from Xib'alb'a to Isla Holbox.

Prophecy: She is known to see in the future.

• Physical traits: In The Empty, Hurakan took the form of an obsidian black jaguar and shone almost silver in the moonlight. He had piercing green eyes.

• When encountering Zane in the Old World, Hurakan had dark disheveled hair, looked like hadn't shaved in three days, and was so stiff he could've been made of stone. He wore a dark T-shirt, dark pants, and a leather band on each wrist. 

• His eyes can change from gold to black. After being imprisoned by the other gods, he looked gaunt and disheveled and wore black scrubs.

• Character traits: caring and protective of his son. Heis also proud of Zane.

• Abilities

• Aerokinesis: As the God of Wind, Hurakan has control over the winds. He had used this power to shield Zane from the other gods.

• Atmokinesis (limited): As the God of Storms, Hurakan has control over storms. He had used them to shield Zane from the other gods.

• Pyrokinesis: As the God of Fire, Hurakan has control over the element. His son, Zane, was given this ability as well.

• Typhokinesis: As the god of fire, Hurakan has control over additional properties of fires, such as smoke.

• Creation: As one of the creator gods, Hurakan can create worlds, such as The Empty.

• Physical traits: Mr. Ortiz is a balding elderly man who is somewhat overweight.

• Character traits: Mr. Ortiz is a kind man who cares for Zane and is willing to help him out.

Physical traits:Quinn is a woman in her early twenties who resembles her younger sister with the same beautiful dark eyes and hair, she's also described to have pale skin (probably due to spending so much time in Xib'alb'a) with freckles. When she was in Xib'alb'a, Quinn wore loose black cargo pants with ties at the hems and a black long-sleeved shirt. Her hair was tied in a high ponytail that drew her face back so tightly it looked like her skin might crack if she smiled.

Character traits: Quinn is very serious and focused on the task at hand. She also cares a lot about Brooks.

Abilities:

Shapeshifting: As a powerful Nawal, being able to change into almost any animal.

Vitakinesis: As a Nawal, Quinn has enhanced healing abilities. Being able to recover from and survive serious injuries.
