The doctrine was first used in lebanon in 1958 the doctrine was put into place after the current lebanon president requested assistance because of fears of attacks from political rivals, The United states also sent these troops to send a message to the soviets that they would protect their allies and their interests in the middle east. </p><p><br></p>]]></description>

The doctrine was focused on providing economic and financial aid to prevent these war torn countries from becoming communist states. The doctrine was used in greece and turkey where the United states provided 400 million dollars in the form of military and economic aid. </p>]]></description>

         <title>1948-1949: The Berlin Airlifts</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The Berlin airlifts was started by the Berlin blockade when Stalin closed all rail and road routes into western Berlin which halted the stream of needed supplies such as food, fuel, and medicine which left the state of 2 million citizens with 5 weeks of food. This left the allies such as Britain and the United States with no choice but to airlift supplies to Berlin, these planes brought necessary supplies including food, medicine and even Christmas presents that pilots brought with their own money. </p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The berlin Wall was one of stalin techniques to annoy the allies, This concrete wall enclosed West Berlin entirely stretching 155km along with being 3 and a half metres tall, The berlin wall quickly became a strong symbol of the division between east and west as well as the cold war itself. This extensive wall was put up to prevent the flow of people moving out of the east section in addition to preventing the allies influence from growing larger. </p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The korean war started in june 1950 although fightng pratically ended coming to a deadstop after 1951 the armistice was only signed into effect in 1953 after each side signed off on the terms. This war caused a new border to be drawn near the 38th parallel, as well as the creation of the demilitarized zone between each country.</p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The north Korean peoples army crossed over the 38th parallel which divided the nation in two and then invaded south Korea in a series of coordinated attacks along the parallel. This invasion sent off the Korean war and is ultimately what split the two nations as well as the reason that south Korea is democratic and capitalist.</p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

This bomb was different then any other bomb created since it was based upon  both nuclear fusion and atomic fission which is able to release massive amounts of energy and is up to hundreds to thousands times stronger then a regular atomic bomb. </p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The McCarran Act put the frame in for the U.S to choose which countries migrants would be allowed from and which countries people wouldn't be allowed to come from. The act also strengthened the laws against espionage which later affected the Rosenberg trial and limited free speech for national security.</p>]]></description>
