Impacts of Violent Behaviour on People’s Lives

I think that violent and aggressive behaviour has numerous negative impacts on people's lives. Firstly, violent behaviour harms people's mental health. For example, as a result of violent acts, people may develop major mental health problems such as post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, and anxiety. So, a victim of domestic abuse may fear further punishments and feel unable to escape, placing himself at risk. Second, academic failure and job loss are direct effects that happen as a result of aggression and violent behaviour. Students who suffer from violent behaviour or have aggressive attitudes fail to achieve any advance in their studies, get shallow marks, and become isolated socially. In addition, aggressive people always lose their work and get a lot of penalties at their workplace because of their violent behaviour. Finally, violent behaviour has a negative impact on families and marriage life. For instance, violent behaviours and aggression between parents directly affect family harmony and lead to divorce or separation and the loss of custody of children. In short, violent behaviour leads to horrible impacts on people's lives, such as mental health issues, failure in school and loss of employment, and separation of families.

Naser Meteb Alosaimi
ID: 67468

The overlooked wounds of Violent behaviour

Violent behaviour can change the mindset of not only the person but also the people around you. It is proved to be a source of negativity on everyone involved. The following might occur only on the violent person at hand; anxiety, depression, poor anger management, poor social skills, insecurity, anger, lack of empathy, pathological lying, manipulative behaviour, impulsiveness and so on. This is believed to come from a very dark childhood amongst other things that might include; a horrible environment, a lack of a father/mother figure in their lives, constant critique, lack of positive reinforcements and etc. However what most people forget is the effects that it might spread. It often times makes people lack trust in each other or in new encounters. It might hurt someone so much that they will go through a long and often failed journey to find themselves and not be "broken" and with the lack of trust they most likely will not have any company to help which is often what we need most in our lives. That being only the mental issues as well as looking at the bright. What if it was physical? do you think it would be better?

Image source: https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.leconomiste.com%2Fflash-infos%2Ffrance-hausse-de-10-des-violences-conjugales-en-2020&psig=AOvVaw0Sh3CU-yAlrMCF9Jm7FHdm&ust=1652450704503000&source=images&cd=vfe&ved=0CAwQjRxqFwoTCLDpo-eQ2vcCFQAAAAAdAAAAABAk

Mohammed Falah Alajmi
ID: 65350

Negative behaviors can have a negative impact on people. There are many ways to make people feel guilty, embarrassed, or angry about someone's behavior. But these are not the only ways that a person can be negatively impacted by another individual's behavior. Violence is another way that a person can be harmed by another individual’s actions, and it happens to countless people all around the world every day. Violence can leave deep emotional scars on its victims, and even sometimes cause physical damage as well. Violence is defined as “physical force exerted to damage, injure, or abuse” A person can experience violence in their homes, on the streets, at school, or at work. There are many different types of violence that people experience every day. Strangers most commonly perpetrate violence against their victims. Because of this, it is exceedingly difficult to accurately study how and why this type of violence happens.

Image source: https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=https%3A%2F%2Ftheconversation.com%2Fviolent-behaviour-shows-up-at-primary-school-and-can-end-there-too-133107&psig=AOvVaw31aUD7ok3RYaDBEC5aK6y6&ust=1652450638153000&source=images&cd=vfe&ved=0CAwQjRxqFwoTCPC9_6jN2vcCFQAAAAAdAAAAABAD

Fahad Fhaid Saleh Alharbi
ID: 62538
