I discovered your work way back in 2019 and had fell in love with your creation ever since! Your series has revitalized my passion and love for art and I hope that you know how loved you are in all corners of the world, Your level of mastery in visual story telling, layouts, anatomy, world building and shading techniques is something I deeply admire. If you asked me who my favorite character is I would not be able to tell you because all of them I have grown attached and related it to in some way shape or form, the feel human and not just a "flat" character, they all have ambitions, unique personalities and much more and I love them all so so much. In a world full of hate your creation is so full of love and support, thank you for giving minorities and LGBTQIA+ folk a spotlight and representation in your world without sensationalizing it. Truly in more ways than one Witch Hat Atelier has saved me, when I was in a deep depression and I lost my will to do anything and just wished to disappear I thought to myself "No! I cant go yet! I still need to see WHA animated!". Getting to actually witness and see your characters be brought to life by BUG Films has been a huge moment of joy for me because I can think to myself "I did it!!" and I have you to thank for that Shirahama-san. As a long time fan seeing them animated actually made me cry wwww. Since discovering WHA I have since recommended it to all of my friends and people who would listen, Ive since branched out and managed to read your prior works as well!! WHA is something i seriously think a person must read if they want to get into fantasy anime, I hope WHA has a soaring success like when coco flew in the dagdah range, You deserve it sensei!! i only finished reading the manga two days ago as of writing this, but it's already become incredibly important to me as an artist. i'm not very good with words, so i can't really describe my feelings well, but i'm so glad a story like witch hat atelier exists. it's definitely been a big help for me during a time full of AI as well. it's a nice reminder that human art is magic, even if my lines are a little shaky or uneven like coco's spells.
