Most lawyers don't even come near to this. In oder to make the system run better more public defenders are needed. In oder to do this we need to hire more lawyers for this position. In New orleans there are only 51 public defenders. All of the evidence showed that he wasn't even close to the crime scene . He was in Texas with his pregnant wife. He was released the next. So he was appointed a public defender. The case is still going on, but all we know is that because this man has a brand new public defender he is loosing the case. Also this case is very hard to win since all the evidence points to him; there is also an eye witness.
