Teachers should work to challenge all students, just as much as we have to reach out to the students who are not at the same level. This is why honors classes and AP classes exist. It is the teacher's job to ensure that these classes are setup to target students who want to be pushed, and those who need to be as well.

It's where they develop the majority of their social skills. Pull out programs "isolate" certain kids. 
-It's often beneficial to have students of various readiness levels in your classes, so they can all grow and learn together.
