The car is focused and the background is blurred.

This picture went really well, i focused on the road whilst waiting for the next car to pass. There was some doubt by the lecturer present that the poor lighting conditions would affect the quality of the picture, but soon came to the conclusion that its was the best we were going to get due to the time of year. As the car approached i started to pan the camera at the appropriate speed in order to compensate for the moving object. Since the background was stationary, the moving of the camera blurs it.

To set this picture up I focused on the the background. As the car passed i took the picture and since i had not panned the camera or increased the shutter speed, the subject is blurry.

I like this picture because of the expression/emotion of the subject really comes out, although the picture is in black and white this somehow adds to the character of the man being photographed.

This Photo was an imitation of marlon brando as the godfather, i used various lighting set ups to try and recreat the original which did work to some extent.

In this Picture i completely changed every aspect, i changed the time of from day to night , i added trees in the background and made the sky and surounding have a purple hue to them
