TEAM THOUGHTS: Are there any other places outside of your classroom that we can work together to improve student learning or behaviour by all the intermediates being on the same page with a ROUTINE? ie line ups in the hall after recess, walking to gym or computer lab, etc.

1. Same shape of the day each day and written on the board
2. Ketchup and pickles at the end of the week so they know they can use that time for catching up on missed work for the week but they want to have "pickles" time with the STEM bins, board games, Prodigy, etc so it's an incentive to get their work done during the assigned times instead of during ketchup

I have the same routine almost every day. We start with Guided Reading, ehen planners and SpellingCity or Raz kids when done. Students must finish a work activity before they get positive activities. Many students are on the work/break schedule, (some are responding, some not). There is a clsss daidly and weekly schedule posted. For SEL students can get a drink, go to the exercise bike, sit at the back of the room. They ARE NOT allowed to leave the class without permission.

1. We begin each day with the daily 5 and then math groups. The groups for both activities have been established and the students know what they are doing in their groups and at their stations.
2. Every week their is a student of the week. The student is selected based off his or her willingness to challenge themselves and show a growth mindset within the classroom.
