Now, in the Industrial Revolution, these contractors work in factories with spinners and weavers. The Industrial Revolution was greatly impacted by the textile industry. There were many factories that made clothes throughout Britain. Other people had jobs that produced glass, paper, pottery, etc. Since they invented the steam engine, there were many people that worked in coal mines.
