         <description><![CDATA[<div>A machine pulls the entire tomato plant out of the ground and shakes the tomatoes onto a conveyor belt. Then it throws to remaining plant back onto the field. Lastly, the conveyor belt brings tomatoes up to an assembly line while workers pick through ripe tomatoes.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Ripe tomatoes are packaged in open fruit crates. Sometimes they are carefully arranged and sometimes they are randomly bulk packaged. Then they are stored in refrigerated container with fresh air or a controlled atmosphere. Unripe tomatoes are taken to large distribution centers and sprayed with a chemical that speeds up the ripening process.</div>]]></description>
