- a species of mushroom that produces mind-altering effects
- every user has a different experience. These can be things from extreme mood swings to visions of bright colors.
- Normally, the mushroom is prepared by drying it so that the water in it will evaporate, leaving behind a very concentrated mushroom.
- most people just chew small pieces of this, however, it has a very strong, unpleasant, dirt-like flavor.
Since most people do not enjoy this taste, add the mushroom to boiling water and add sugar or honey, making a "tea" out of the mushroom.

"Psilocybin." UXL Encyclopedia of Drugs and Addictive Substances, Gale, 2010. Health & Wellness Resource Center, http://link.galegroup.com/apps/doc/CV2646400047/HWRC?u=lom_inac&sid=HWRC&xid=2fa8840f.
