when I heard the news about covid 19 and the stay at home order, I was shocked. I remember the day vividly. i was sitting in science class in 6th grade march 19th, 2020. I received a email from the school saying we would have an extra week of spring break. It was probably the best news ever. Slowly that news started to get worse, and after the 2 weeks we would soon be facing 3 months of lockdown. From being a girl who went to school, and went to dance every day to online school and dance it was a huge adjustment. We had school for only 45 minutes each subject every Tuesday and Thursday. The rest of the day we had to “teach ourselfs” but i sure know i did not.  It was hard i couldn’t see my grandparents, due to them being of high risk. Everything changed so quickly, from “yay 2 weeks of spring break” to “millions hospitilized from covid 19” Everything was postponed. Me and my team where getting ready for the biggest dance competition of the season, just for it to get canceled. Zoom became the next big thing, online everything!

Yes, we had a Greece cruise planned for the summer and has now been posponed for 3 years!

I would say that every wee we word be able to go out, and now i know that, that was not the case. It would be like 3 months. 

For me, everybody has kinda just gone back to normal. We have gotten so used to all the short cuts of the pandemic, going back was hard. 

I learned to never to take a minute for granted. Everything changed so quickly, people lost there lives. We do not have time to waste!
