The tournament was based off a point system, my team was supposed to be at third. But because of an issue, we got second place. It was so amazing, but we all agreed that it didn't feel right that we were just given second place.

We got an email from the directors saying that if we wanted, we could just go based off points and give us first. But my coach and the other coach spoke, and both agreed they still wanted to play out the match. So, we emailed the directors back, and played the finals the next weekend. Even though we ended getting second, it  still showed how much hard work we put in.

This comes back to my theme because we could have just taken first place and not played the second game. We earned points either because it was either the teams first season, or they just straight out forfeited the match. But our second to last game of the season, we played a higher ranked team in the next bracket. It was finally a team above our skill level, and we were beat. I wasn't upset after though, because we finally had a game where we had to push ourselves.
