It's a confidence booster for me, it makes me feel like a video vixen, and it reminds me that nothing about me is minimal. The song "Milkshake" talks about a milkshake but actually says that her attractiveness brings a crowd. She was simply the it girl of the time, and sadly, she is making a lot of money off her hits, but it goes to the producers.

The song "How to Love" by Lil Wayne is so inspiring and true. To me, this song speaks to women, and especially to black women, about healing from trauma across generations. Even though the "he" in the song may have been a problem, he exemplified heartbreak and stress in a beautiful way. This song never fails to bring me to tears. My favorite line is “You never credit yourself so when you got older, it seems like you came back ten times over. Now you're sitting here in this damn corner, looking through all your thoughts and looking over your shoulder…”. The way I interpret this is that you never give yourself credit, so nothing is ever enough for you, and you constantly compare yourself to unrealistic goals, waiting for your "failures" to come for you. This song is like free therapy.

I'm not a part of the church and never had a strong bond with God. I was never one to cry in church, and no gospel song really moved me until I heard this 7-minute song about God's glory. "Come in the Room" is about God being everything you need and Him having all power. This song screams that God has the last word. It moved more than my heart; it moved my soul, and it was the love that helped my Christ's journey.

The song is about starting from the bottom and getting the best. It's a reminder that even if you've been in section 8, you're worth every bit of 8 trillion. And to lose him is very traumatizing.
