It could be a fight scene or a quiet moment of talking to themselves, dancing and thinking, maybe even the enimie just watching them in there beauty. Maybe music going on in the back.
2. To see them smiling, sad, mad, etc. emotion just happening as they walked, talk, hand movements, and/or dress.
3. To show detals could litterly push it like a deem room for a happy scene and a light room for scary don't give a dark felling to everyone. To actually such like songs ex: city of the dead isn't talking about rainbows that's for sure.
