      <description>A graduate of the University at Buffalo School of Law, Catherine Brennan began her legal career as a legal writer for the Daily Record, followed by positions with the Maryland Education Coalition and the Women&#39;s Law Center. From 2001 to 2004, Catherine Brennan served as Baltimore’s assistant city solicitor/assistant state&#39;s attorney for the Department of Housing and Community Development.

Ms. Brennan joined Hudson Cook in 2004 and became a partner in 2008. In addition to engaging in consumer credit due diligence, she draws on deep knowledge of federal and state regulations to assist banks and other licensed lenders in the development and maintenance of consumer finance programs. Recognized in the Chambers FinTech 2020 USA Guide for Corporate, Securities and Financing, Ms. Brennan also appears in The Best Lawyers in America©2021 for Financial Services Regulation Law.

A vice chair of the American Bar Association (ABA) Consumer Financial Services Committee, Ms. Brennan frequently gives presentations for organizations such as Lend360 and the American Bar Association Business Law Section. Outside her professional pursuits, she enjoys hiking and spending time with her family.</description>
