Agriculture in the Neolithic era allowed them to live in larger communities. This also meant that they had different roles within the community. For example one of these roles might be being in charge crops while the person might be in charge of livestock. Therefore agriculture was a good technological advancement in the Neolithic era.

In my opinion, the most important social or technological advancement made during the Neolithic era was agriculture (farming). I think that agriculture is the most important advancement because it enabled people or communities to stay in one spot and grow their own food instead of having to hunt and gather wild food. Agriculture enabled the ability to make more permanent structures like stable houses.

The growth of agriculture in the early neolithic stage really intensified the farming of crops meaning societies could span over broader areas and settle there. because of this farming procedure they can stop moving and are now non-nomadic to semi-nomadic. This resulted in less hunter gatherers cause of this more optimal method of getting food.
In my opinion farming/Agriculture is the most important social/technological development to the neolithic age.

The Neolithic era showed an advancement of technological and social attributes related to the new discovery of farming creating a transition in the world’s life and style. One of the ways that the Neolithic era impacted on the society includes farming, which gave the civilisation food to eat without having to go hunting. This created more food for the civilisation meaning that there was more than enough for everyone. This leads us to our social attribute, which is the hierarchy of most civilisations. If you were a farmer you would be high in status and be treated with great respect, as you would be the one to supply the civilisation with the food that it needs to survive. This helped the Neolithic era to grow since there was more food, people would live longer, have more children with other skills and grow as a population and since the hunting was not as popular anymore, the Neolithic societies began to become less nomadic, allowing buildings to be built which would eventually change into towns and then the first cities in the world, like the city of Ur. In conclusion, farming was the turning point of the palaeolithic and Neolithic eras and started a new period of growth in civilisations.

Society & Technology Changes

Society in the Neolithic era changes because the ice age supported more food and animals to grow and breed. This made many people create civilised villages because of how they didn’t have to move to find food any longer because of the technological peoples of the Neolithic times found out that they could grow grain and other foods by watering and given nutrients. They also discovered that they could catch and keep animals and domesticate them to fatten then eat. This allowed people to settle in one place and develop a more sophisticated living environment. The people in the village would have lots of respect for the farmers who gave them meat and grain to survive off.

The Neolithic Era, also known as the New Stone Age was the last development stage of Prehistory. In this period, dating from around 10,000BCE, humans learned to raise crops, domesticate livestock and no longer relied on fishing and hunting-gathering. Learning to farm grains lead to Neolithic people staying in permanent residences and living in larger communities. Tools used in the Neolithic Era are usually stone, made by grinding and polishing rocks, instead of chipping softer, flaky stones. These changes occurred at different times around the world, starting at the Fertile Crescent.

The Neolithic era (New Stone Age), allowed civilisations to grow socially and improve there technology because people and tribes now settled in one place and started to build permanent structures. There was also the invention of agriculture and that allowed communities to harvest food without going out and hunting. It also produced more food and over time they produced better farmer techniques.
