Review 1 was talking about that the movie was very good and that the director of the movie "To kill a Mockingbird" was saying that he picked very good actors and that he was glad that Mary Badham(scout) Phillip Alford(jem) were responsible and kids understand what time and place there were in and understanding about the racial digression. I agree with his statement because the two kids acting were 9 years old and jem was 13 years old. I think it was a good idea to show this book and movie to 6th graders and on up.

The author argued that the book was giving bad ideas to young children and that they could believe this and make them different in their future and the author said this because of the language and the plot of the story. I disagree with this because I believe children 9th grade and up can read this and not be affected.
