During her life she became part of the Palmah group and she was one of the thirty-three people who were chosen to be a paratrooper. She went into enemy territory and aided the injured but ended up getting caught and taken to jail. They wanted to get information from her and she would not do it so she got a death sentence.

He made an impact on her life though because he is the reason that she had an interest in literature. Her mother was still alive though. When Hannah was put to jail so was her mom because she refused to leave her daughters side. She also had a brother who was always there for her in times she needed help. Her mother and brother were the only ones still alive during her lifetime though.
