Januhairy is a month where both men and women make a commitment to growing their body hair out for the month of January without shaving. Over the month, these participants share their hair growth progress on social media. Overall, the ending goal is to feel sexier and to have such an intense love for your natural body hair that you remain to grow it.

This trend occurs on tik tok where people post videos of their side profile in tune with a power boosting song. They encourage loving your side profile to introduce that you are beautiful the way you are because of your unique side profile.

Body Engorgement scenarios

This is a trend on tik tok where influences, who love their own bodies and promote body postivity on their channels, make a scenario where they held the viewer with their own insecurity. While they may seem cringy to some, these videos are made with good intention to boost the confidence of women and men on social media immensely. They differ from the older promotion of 'easy fixes" on social media- "easy fat lose" or "easy hair fix" to help with insecurity promoted by influences.

This is a realitvliy new trend, however, it is has immense body postive vibes. the trend focuses on using your eyes in sevral ways to look different on camera. While it orginally didn't intend to focus on bringing body postivity to peoples eyes, people found through the trend that it did. They became to love their eye shape and eye color.

This is a trend where influencers post themselves in clothing that may make some people uncomfortable becuase it dosent comply to current body standards. They make this very aparent in their videos or content by saying this sentance clearly. It is to show that they, and you should love yourself in whatever clothing you wear, even if it is not socially acceptable.

Posing vs Reality

This is another very popular trend on social media as of current. It is done by showing live or non-live videos of oneself, typically influences, showing their bodies posed (as like in a picture) and unposed. The purpose is to reveal that a picture is not how everyone looks, there is something hidden or not shown. This is quite different than how it used to be. Influences would take pictures of themselves posed and edited, which made views jealous and upset because they can never make their body look like theirs. Now influence's are showing to get rid of these exceptions and show there is no reason to be jealous because influences don't always look like they do in their photos ever or in real life.

Duet Chains

This is a duet chain, which is a sort of edit that allows creators to interact with each other on the same screen. Creators recently have been promoting body postivity with each other with this feature, often complementing each other about something about them. It shows positivity and promotes self-love to it's audience. This idea of working together with other creators and people to love you body is very new considering the way we used to view others body image. People often use to think that they have to look better than another person on the internet to love themselves, but based of this trend that is not true.
