A recipient of a bachelor's and a master's degree from Brooklyn College at the City University of New York, Samantha Levine is an educator with over 15 years of experience. As a New York resident, Samantha Levine enjoys visiting the Metropolitan Museum.

The museum features theme- and artist-specific exhibitions throughout the year to highlight the variety of noteworthy artwork throughout the course of history. One of the Met's upcoming exhibitions will display the works of American artist Frederic Remington, who, in the 19th century, detailed insightful depictions of Native Americans, trappers, and cavalry in the American West through paintings, sculptures, and illustrated books.

Born in 1861, Remington attended Yale University's art school, but left when he was 19 years old. He headed west toward Montana, where he first viewed the sights he would later popularize through his artwork. Some of his most popular paintings include The Long-Horn Cattle Sign and A Dash for the Timber. His exhibit at the Met Fifth Avenue will be on display from July 3, 2017, to January 2, 2018.
