With a heavy heart we honor Eugenie McKair Reid for her 86 years on Earth. She has been through a lot in those 86 years and she tried to be a loving Mother and grandmother and at times she can be a pain in the butt but she at least tried to do the right thing and she means well.

So farewell Great-Grandma R.I.P.

Over the years, I have known Ms, Eugénie, She never stop helping others and serve the Lord. She was generous beyond measure She lived to help people and took great joy in it. She was considered a pillow to many.

Christina, you have sorrow but please find comfort in knowing that your grandmother did her job on earth, A job that she did well with great pleasure, and now she is with the Lord as it should be.

Our dear sister “Wealthy” as we affectionately called you, you were a strong woman, a generous woman and an outspoken woman. You always spoke your mind and, even if your words sometimes hurt, we know your bark was more than your bite. We take solace in knowing that all your trials on earth have ended and you are resting in the arms of our Heavenly Father. We will miss you dearly. You are gone but will never be forgotten. Grandma Reid was the kind of person who made you feel special just by being near her. Every time I saw her, she would shower me with so much love — hugs, kind words, and a light in her eyes that made me feel seen, cherished, and safe. Her love wasn’t quiet or distant — it was real, strong, and constant.

Sis Reid you were one in a million to me.

We had a special bond. You were extremely generous to my family and I. You didn’t just tell us you loved us, you showed it.

On many occasions too numerous to mention we laughed, talked, joked, reminisced about England.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

For years you made sure there were flowers in the sanctuary for Sunday service and other occasions. You’ve cleaned the church, visited the sick and shut in.

You left an indelible mark in United Apostolic Lighthouse. Others may come and go but there’ll never be another Euginie Reid.

I love you but Jesus loves you best.

Sleep on beloved, sleep on and take your rest.

To a kind loving sister mot only to but my immediate family. We talked and laughed together and encouraged one another in the Lord whenever we met. we will miss her but she is gone to a. better place.

Sister Eugene Ried was that kind of woman that was outspoken and whatever was on her mind she would say it. I remember when sister. Reid would testify she would say her feet were like Hinds feet. I remember her kindness, laughter and affection. I recall when sister Ried would sister Ried would give her flowers 💐 on special occasions! She would always say " God is soo good to me, he made my feet like hinds feet" Blessed are those who died in the Lord. Sister. Ried surely will be missed! My condolences to the entire family. May God give you comfort during this time of grief.

We send our Condolences and Prayers to the Family and Friends of Sis. E. Reid. UAL has lost another foot solider whom has gone on to a place of rest. I recalled one of our outing as we volunteered at the food pantry while serving the community which was one of God’s requirements to serve his people. The joy on your face said it all. I also recalled when I wasn’t feeling well you would come and check in on me and when you couldn’t come in person you would call. We also recall you testified that God has given you “hinds feet”. We also recall her dedication in making sure there were fresh flowers every Sunday, which brightened up and lightened the atmosphere even if your spirit was crossed. Each and everyone has left a stamp on this Christian pathway that others cannot match.

I appreciate you in life and now in death because your kind is so hard to come by. I agree with the song writer when he said “There Is A Place Up There for People Like You”. God has called you home. No more pain nor heartache. Rest In Peace my Beloved Sister and friend. Again our Condolences to Family and Friends.

My loving cousin never forgot about her UK family and always made a point of contacting or visiting us whenever she came over. I enjoyed spending some time with her, sharing faith stories and faith adventures or just reminiscing. The plan to make a return visit has been cut short but I'm sure she is safe in the arms of her saviour. I pray for comfort and the Lord's peace at this difficult time. We too, will miss her.🙏🏽

As the oldest member of the family, it is with sadness that I have to say a few words at this time. Wealthy stayed in touch with the family when she left for the US and when she visited the UK she always came to visit.

I will always remember how much she supported the family when my brother and my wife passed away and one day, we will all meet again.

I pray for God's peace for those she has left behind.

Sister Reid ,

A fierce and passionate woman, mother, daughter, friend who loved the lord and family.

She brought lots of laughter, joy, strength, support, transparency, wisdom and prayer warrioring to the Blake Family.

Having a cherished Mother/Daughter/Friend relationship with our Heavenly Matriarch Clarista Rubeta Blake also known as “Mother Blake” was amazing to experience and learn from as they were there for each other during all phases of life, the true definition of a “Ride or Die” duo.

She was very unapologetic about her deeply rooted love for “Mother Blake” making sure she had her preferred meals, treats and anything special. Sister Reid has always been a wealth of honest, unwavering support for “Mother Blake”, her children, grandchildren and extended family members.

Dear Christina, my deepest sympathies to you and Ryan. I got to know your granny while you and I worked as teachers at a Charter School. She was such a caring and loving granny. I recall she would come by with Ryan, and she was always so concerned and caring. She always moved quickly like a lady on a mission and had a sunny personality. Nothing was a problem for her as she was always so optimistic. I always said, such a sweet elderly lady. I am so sorry that she has left you and Ryan. May she grow wings and continue to look out for you and Ryan while in heaven.
