Reason 1# children cant be prosecuted for something that they had no control over.

They arent the roots of the problem. If anything, prosecution and detentions should be the last minute resorts. Most of the child soldiers dont know what they got into as they were forced into it after despair from other losses. They were given fake hope by those who used them for their own benefits a.k.a commanders. More times than not, it was not their choice, more times than not, they ended up suffering from this choices and becoming the victims. Unfortunately, their unreversable actions that they were forced and tricked to do make them the perpetrators as well.
