There were many advances in the field of mathematics in the Islamic Empire, these advances were able to be made because of places like the House of Wisdom. The House of Wisdom is one of the places where scholars were able to make important discoveries and advances because scholars could come together and learn about what advances all over the world had been made. The advances made in mathematics were far above any advances anyone else in the world was making and they helped set the foundation for math today. Mongols overthrow of the Islamic Empire

The revolution in thought ended because of the end of the Islamic empire and the end of the Islamic empire was due to the Mongols and the war they ravaged and won with the empire. After the Mongols took over most of them converted to Islam and became "some of the greatest patrons of the arts". If the Mongols had converted to Islam earlier there is a chance that the revolution in thought could have been sustained. The house of Wisdom was a huge library and a place where scholars could go to collaborate. These buildings allowed for scholars to find out what new advancements in certain fields had been found and what people were working on. A successful revolution in thought is caused by wars raged for the betterment of life and the collaboration of scholars to invent and discover new things for the betterment of everyday life and the empire as a whole, is sustained by the continued collaboration and the need to advance different fields of study by scholars and evidenced by all the inventions and advancements done during that specific revolution. Such as advancements in mathematics and increased inventions in technology.

Song dynasty overthrows the Jin dynasty

In 960 the Song dynasty was established after the Jin dynasty had been conquered. Some time after the Song dynasty was established paper currency was invented and introduced as the new form of currency. This bettered the economy and made it easier to carry currency. Paper Money in the Song Dynasty

Until paper money was created bronze coins were used as currency. These coins were not easily transportable and were heavy and a nuisance to carry. Paper money started being used by merchants. One being the idea of Christendom. One of the reasons why the Revolution in Thought lasted so long in Europe Is because the scholars of Europe were able to work together and base their work off of each others for much longer than the other empires. The scholars of Europe continued to base their work off of each others which allowed them to continue to create advances and make more advances. One example of this is Kepler and Newton. After Keplers death Newton took inspiration from his work and went on to create his famous three laws of motion. If the Song dynasty and the Mongols had been able to make a treaty, which the mongols tried to do, then the Song Dynasty could have been preserved and the Revolution in Thought could have been sustained.
