I love sharing and exchanging knowledge with the next generation, knowing that education is the foundation for their growth and future success. It’s not just about imparting information but about fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and the joy of discovery. Sharing my passion, particularly for dance and the French language, allows me to inspire students to express themselves creatively and connect with cultures and histories beyond their own. Dance, as a deeply personal art form, has taught me the power of movement to communicate, heal, and build community, and French has opened my world to new ways of thinking and expressing ideas. Teaching these subjects allows me to give my students tools for both creative and intellectual growth.

Teaching fulfills me deeply, especially when I witness the growth of my students and realize I have made a meaningful difference in their lives. It is not just a job to me; it is a fulfilling and rewarding career that goes beyond the classroom. The joy of seeing a student confidently perform a dance piece or hold a conversation in French reminds me why I chose this path.

Reflecting on my own learning experiences, I feel I have so much to offer. I have experienced both the positive and negative aspects of education, and these experiences have fueled my desire to give back to my own students.  I remember moments in my own dance training and French classes where I felt inspired by a teacher’s belief in me, and I want to pass that same encouragement to my students. At the same time, I want to address the gaps I felt in my education—to create inclusive, supportive spaces where every student feels they belong. I strive to be the kind of teacher I always wanted—supportive, understanding, and genuinely invested in my students' success.

Coming from a family of teachers, I feel a deep connection to this vocation. Teaching runs in my blood, and continuing this passion and tradition feels both natural and meaningful. My family's dedication to education has shown me the value of teaching as a way to uplift and inspire others. This heritage has shaped my belief that education, particularly in subjects like French and dance, has the power to nurture self-awareness, cultural appreciation, and creative problem-solving.

Ultimately, teaching offers me a way to combine my skills, passions, and values into a career that truly matters. By sharing my love for dance and the French language, I hope to help students find their voices—whether through movement, language, or a combination of the two. Teaching allows me to create a space where students feel seen, supported, and inspired to reach their potential. Through teaching, I not only contribute to shaping the future but also grow and learn alongside my students every day.
