Long guides a company that has pioneered a cloud-based post-production workflow for entertainment, and as chairman of the board for Muse VFX & Design, he helps direct a boutique visual effects firm. Leading up to his career, Bruce K. Long studied marketing and psychology at Arizona State University and the University of Arizona. Prior to his current positions, he held executive roles with companies such as Technicolor, New Antics, and Iconix Technology. He also founded and led post-production company Next Element LLC, which had a proprietary software: "SmartSoft" that innovated on location remote production workflows and helped build a client base that included Warner Bros., Disney, Lionsgate, and other film studios, before selling the company to Deluxe.
