Curtis painted a big sign that says "Lateesha’s Tomatoes" to make sure everyone and especially Lateesha knew who the tomatoes were for, and placed it right by the plants. It was his final attempt to show her that everything he’s done for her. As he watered the plants, Curtis looks up and sees Lateesha’s face behind the lace curtain. Finally, Curtis sees Lateesha looking out of her window at the sign, indicating that she might be noticing his effort.
