My dad was a big time joker. His favorite thing to do was either make you laugh, or rock out on his guitar. I love watching my daughters play guitar and giggle all day because I see how similar they are!

RBG has been one of my heroes my entire life. The way she fought for equal rights has shaped our modern world. Losing her this hurt deeply. I will always remember not only the battles she fought, but the dignity with which she fought them.

My mom was something fierce. She was the biggest (and loudest) cheerleader for my brother and me. She was the best listener, advice giver, warmest hugger, and big nap taker. She was always rocking her beautiful smile and big hair (that I made fun of her for). She would light up any room that she walked into and truly would live everyday to its fullest. She still is the best friend I will ever have and I hope to be half the person she was. I am SO thankful to be her daughter and to have inherited her love of singing even when you aren't the best at it. <3

I would not be who I am with these two. My dad was a very bright and humble man. He went to MIT on a full scholarship at 16. He was also a well known track star as well. My mother was also bright and had a wicked sense of humor. They taught me the value of getting a good education and being independent. They were married almost 50 years and left this world far too soon. I am grateful I had two amazing parents. I think about them often.

My grandparents were always there for me growing up. My grandmother was the one we baked cookies with, and the one I called every day when I got home from school. My grandfather, took me fishing, elderberry picking, and taught me how to identify birds and wild plants. The smell of cherry pipe tobacco takes me back to his warm hugs.

This is my grandfather John Wrobel. He served in the Communications Corps in WWII and was part the Second D-Day Wave in Normandy, France. He loved model trains and when I was little he would run his trains for me, my little brother and my cousins. We were very close. Every time I see a cardinal I think of him.

My ciocia (auntie) Zosia was always ready for the camera! She told me lots of stories including about what it was like for her to see the first car and first airplane! She was a PE teacher, a businesswoman, and a spy during World War 2. She loved to travel and made the best pierogi (second only to her older sister my great-grandmother babusia:)

This is my friend Franco Stiffel and my dog Evie. Franco was a Polish man of Jewish faith who was a poet, physician, and activist. During WW2 he was sent to the death camps where he lost his parents and his brother. He survived Auschwitz and wrote a book about the experience. He was funny and unbelievably cool.

This is my Mom. My cheerleader I miss her everyday. I would not have been as successful, if not for her.

My favorite cousin is a very special person she passed away in 2011 because her and her girlfriend was arguing and she felt like she didn’t want to be here.me and my family members miss her really bad she was the greatest but I wish I knew her longer

This is my uncle Rene. We lost him earlier this year and it has been rough ever since. There are many obstacles that we have to go through when we lose a loved one. We may not lose the same people but we all do feel the same pain. I remember when we used to go n vacations together with his wife who was pre deceased 21 years ago. My brother and I were their children since they never had any kids. It has been a long journey I could definitely add others here as well but my uncle was like a father figure for me growing up and was always there for my mother and I while growing up. May everyone find comfort in the lost of a loved one.

In the last year two years I lost two very dear friends. Kevin and Sean were both college roommates and fraternity brothers of mine. I met both of these men when we were 18 years old, we may have been considered men yet we were still kids. Back then we had a lot of fun, created many memories including traveling on Spring Break. Over the last 35 years time has passed and all of us grew older and remained close friends. It was a pleasure to watch them become amazing husbands, fathers and in one case a grandfather. Both of these men left this Earth and this life much too soon after fighting courageous but unsurmountable battles with cancer. I miss them dearly and become incredibly sad whenever I think or am reminded of them. Their passing affected me greatly an has left me so appreciative of the life I am able to live and of the friends and family I still have.

My grandmother from P.R. died like 6 months ago and I still hurts because I didn’t went to the funeral because is was on P.R. and because the coronavirus I didn’t go and I still hurts cause I really want to go and I miss my grandma so much😢😢

With this post I celebrate both my mom and dad. Both we're taken from me when I was too young to lose both of my parents. My mother's life was cut short by an illness, but my father lived pretty well. We never had a perfect life, but one thing that was always true was their love for one another. I miss them so much every single day.

Goldie and my great grandma and my great grandpa all died Goldie died from cancer and great grandma great grandpa both died from old age. ill never forget them bc there in my head and I feel like they are with me even though they died. I am so thank ful for them. I Will allways love them.
